Pike Angling Ireland

Not sure who knows about this, but it's a great competition, I go every year. Fantastic prizes, very well organised, great venue and great craic in the evenings in the pubs in town.

2 days comp - Sat and Sunday - boat only.

I think last year the prizes were something like €2000 for 1st, €1500 for 2nd , and they have loads of spot prizes so every fish has a chance of a prize (I once won a gold ladies watch - only non-fishingtype prize - sod's law!) . I usually get their flyer in the post about now, so when I get further details, I'll pass them on.

Just a follow up on this - is anyone going ? If so, could we maybe arrange a forum meet at Mattimoe's bar in Boyle on the Saturday night ?

can't get page to upload do you have to be a member of any fishing club or anything else just got boat and wouldn't mind a bit of a comp
